Another notice to the Adult’s practice, a long thought decision on the schedule will also be implemented very soon. We will most likely end practice at an earlier time. Whether or not we open earlier will also be determined along with this decision. We have to weigh the pros and cons on if it will be beneficial or detrimental to the livelihood of the facility and if it holds any negative bearing on the personal life of the coach(es). This idea has just recently come to light for professional reasons that have an effect on the personal life of said coach(es). Nothing is permanently set, so the possibility of the change itself may not even be implemented. However, if said change does take course, the possibility of things converting back may also happen, but is only determined through the outcome of the change which includes the feedback and participation of the members themselves. It is understandable that this is a lot to take in as well as confusing, but we also have to put our personal lives ahead of the facility and team at times as we have taken too much time away from the more important aspects of our own lives for many years. This should be very understandable as we would never try to persuade any of the members to do that, especially in terms of priorities. Again, this is for the Adult’s Class schedule only. We will keep everyone updated as we move along on this decision.
Just a heads up, this coming week we will not be open for any Adult’s Class. We apologize for any inconvenience. Again, this is for the Adult’s Class schedule only. We will still have teens and youth practice Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Thursday will be closed to All. For any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at any time. Thank you! Have a safe and happy Halloween!
It’s been a little while since our last post, but since the summer camps have ended, we have been preparing for competition for a number of people including our youth athletes! On August 31st, we have 3 of MMA fighters competing in Las Cruces, New Mexico in the American Fight League event Southwest Brawl 10! Youth and teen coach David “The Prototype” Hudson will be making his second amateur MMA performance against a very well matched opponent! This will be a great test of David’s abilities!
Of course, if there’s an MMA match scheduled we always have one of our more seasoned amateur fighters Richard “Black Skellington” Jennings ready to go! Richard also has his work cut out for him against a really well rounded opponent as well with great deal of cage experience. But as always, we strive for these types of competition!
And lastly, but not pictured below because we haven’t received the poster yet, we have a debut fight in the heavyweight division with Ricky Rardin! He’s been at it for a while and really dedicated his time and focus into his training and preparation for this match! Doing everything that’s been suggested and required, Ricky looks to make his mark in the cage! All 3 competitors have been working very hard ever since we found out about the event. As always, we look to put on a great show and leave everything in the cage! Come out and show some support for your local fighters! This event will be a blast!
As far as adjustments and schedule changes, we have already made some, but still have quite a few more to make. Our teen class has been going well and of course so has our youth practice! We always have room for new sign ups! Don’t hesitate! Our doors are open and very welcoming! See you on the mats!
It’s that time again! We have 3 of our competitors participating in this upcoming event on Saturday, August 31st in Las Cruces, New Mexico! It’s going to be a great night of action filled Mixed Martial Arts competition! If you’re in the area around that time, don’t hesitate to come check out this awesome event!
Returning to the cage for his 7th amateur bout is Richard “Black Skellington” Jennings who always puts on a great show every time he enters the arena! Never backing down from a good fight in the cage and ready to showcase some new skills since his last bout, Richard brings a plethora of weapons and abilities to the table against any opponent in front of him! It’s never a dull night when Richard is on a fight card! He brings his very best to the table each and every time!
Also making his way back to the arena at this event is David “The Prototype” Hudson! David is one of the most talented and hard working individuals ever to set foot on any mat! Having trained well over a decade in MMA, David, like Richard, brings a multitude of abilities that have been honed and sharpened over time since his first session all those years ago! Ready to bounce back from a grueling defeat in his first bout, David will also be looking to showcase some new abilities that he’s been working since that last match and put on an entertaining show while looking to get the win! David is ready to bring his A-game and more to this event!
And last, but never least, we have a debut from Ricky Rardin, one of our competitors that has come a very long way since he started training full blown with our team! Eager to get his first match, Ricky started to take training really serious and worked extremely hard to improve each day, getting his strength and conditioning up to par, as well as his diet and weight to an adequate position! Ricky was an on and off member for a few months until he made the decision to fully commit his time! Wanting to take a match when he stepped back on the mats, Ricky was ready to do whatever it took to get in the cage! He understood that it was much too soon at the time, so he waited and worked each and every day until he was fully ready and is now going to put on the best show he knows how! Looking for that same win as the other two!
Please come and show your support for our team and Mixed Martial Arts in general! Also, we are always looking for sponsors for the fighters and the facility. If you’re interested, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
Here are some pictures of some of our team members competing in this past weekend’s grappling tournament!
Everyone did a great job and most of all, had a ton of fun doing it! We always shoot for the best results possible, and this was no different! We strive for perfection everyday! Better results on the next one!
This is a break down of how each camp will go. It is a base layout of the plans for the camp! We will most likely modify things as we go to suit the needs of the people in practice. Although the agenda is posted here on the page, please be informed that participants will still need to come on the first day listed to gather all the other necessary items and information before the following Monday. This is to ensure we get all the little things out of the way in order to jump straight in! Can’t wait to have everyone on the mats!
Along with the boot camps coming up, we are also running a summer special! For those who want to just dive head first into our facility’s programs, we offer this great deal to help the cost of signing up! Don’t hesitate jump on board at this low price while it lasts!
